As this is an up-cycled item with an added outer coating, it's more delicate than standard glass/ceramic. Itmayscratch or chip more easily.
Tips for keeping it at its best:
Avoid touching/rubbing the outer surface when the vase is wet. Pat the outer surface dry gently with a towel/paper towel, and let the inside air dry.
Take care when wearing rings or handling the rim - it's the most fragile part.
Change the water more frequently than usual to avoid staining from old or dirty water.
Use plant food cautiously, as some flower food chemicals may mark/weaken the finish.
