Some of the vases have been painted on the inside to allow the colour palette to flow throughout the piece. If you are set on the vase holding real flowers, we suggest filling a cup/glass with water and placing that inside the vase for the flowers to sit in - however this is not recommended due to the reasons listed above so perform this at your own risk.
